About the Role
Complete Care Agency is recruiting for a part-time support worker for a 29-year-old woman in Bristol who sustained a T6 spinal cord injury four years ago. She is a full-time artist and lives independently in an adapted ground-floor flat. She has a well-established daily routine and very clear preferences about how her care is delivered — she values carers who listen, respect her autonomy, and bring reliability and good humour to the role.
She is seeking a part-time support worker for morning and evening calls (three to four days per week).
What the Role Involves
- Morning personal care routine: assisted showering, dressing, and positioning
- Catheter management
- Meal preparation
- Assistance with studio setup and household tasks as required
- Evening care routine: undressing, positioning, and settling for the night
- Communicating any health concerns to the case coordinator
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in physical disability care or PA work
- Genuine respect for self-directed care — she runs her own package, not the other way around
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Manual handling trained (or willing to complete prior to starting)
- Enhanced DBS
- Eligible to work in the UK
