About the Role
Complete Care Agency is recruiting an experienced Complex Needs Carer for a long-term package in South London. The client is a 52-year-old man with a progressive neurological condition requiring ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and PEG feeding. He lives at home with his family and receives a 24-hour care package.
This role carries significant clinical responsibility and requires a carer with relevant training and a calm, highly professional approach.
What You Will Be Doing
- Tracheostomy care: suctioning, tube changes, stoma care (full training provided and verified prior to starting)
- Ventilator management: monitoring, circuit changes, alarm response
- PEG feeding: administration of feeds and medications via tube
- Personal care, repositioning, and pressure area management
- Assisting with physiotherapy exercises as directed
- Maintaining detailed clinical records and communicating with the wider MDT
- Liaising with the family and care manager regarding any changes
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in complex or clinical community care — this is not suitable for someone new to care
- Tracheostomy and/or ventilator experience (or completed training, verified with certificates)
- PEG feeding experience preferred
- Calm, methodical, and precise in clinical tasks
- Excellent written documentation skills
- Enhanced DBS
- Eligibility to work in the UK
