About Me
I have worked in dementia care for nine years, almost entirely in residential settings across Bristol and Bath. I hold an NVQ Level 3 and am trained in dementia care mapping, which I have used in practice to evaluate and improve the quality of daily life for residents in two different homes.
I am passionate about person-centred dementia care — understanding the individual behind the diagnosis, using their life history to create meaningful connections, and advocating for their dignity and quality of life at every stage. I am looking for a senior or specialist role in a dementia unit where I can continue to develop and contribute to team practice.
