About Me
I am a care worker with five years’ experience, primarily in waking night roles in residential care settings in the Manchester area. Night work suits my temperament — I am calm, self-directed, and comfortable being the responsible adult in a building overnight. I have developed a strong sense of when to act and when to observe, and I take the safety and wellbeing of residents very seriously during the hours when things can go unnoticed.
I have particular experience supporting residents with dementia who are prone to night-time distress and disorientation, and I have built effective strategies for settling individuals without resorting to escalation.
